The problem

One transaction can involve a buyer, a seller, two agents, a lender, and a title company, each signing different documents at different moments. Chase that by email and nobody knows who is holding it up. Worse, the disclosure timing you may have to prove later lives scattered across inboxes.

How the real estate signing workflow runs

  1. Build the packet from templates

Pull your standard agreement, addenda, and disclosures from saved templates instead of rebuilding the packet per deal.

  2. Set the signing order

Decide who signs first, second, and last. Mark the parties who can sign in parallel so they do not wait on each other.

  3. LedgerSign runs the chain

Each party is invited automatically when their turn arrives. You watch progress on the dashboard instead of sending reminders.

  4. Closing package is anchored

On completion the package is hashed, anchored on a public blockchain, and paired with a Certificate of Completion.

The same five steps apply to every document type; the product tour shows each screen.

Which e-signature features matter for real estate

Sequential and parallel signing

Buyer, seller, and broker sign in the order you set. Where order does not matter, parties sign simultaneously and the packet finishes sooner.

Templates for standard forms

Save your standard agreements and state disclosure sets as templates and send a complete packet in a few clicks.

Conditional fields by property type

One template branches by state, property type, or financing, so you stop maintaining a near-identical document for every variation.

Disclosure timing on record

The audit trail shows exactly when each party was sent, opened, and signed each disclosure, with timestamps you did not write yourself.

Anchored closing documents

Closing documents are fingerprinted and anchored on-chain, so the final executed version is provable years after the deal closed.

One dashboard per transaction

Every document in the deal, its status, and who it is waiting on, in one view rather than a folder and a spreadsheet.

What changes

  • Emailing parties to ask if they signed yet

Each party invited automatically when it is their turn

  • Disclosure timing reconstructed from inboxes

Timestamped audit trail on every document in the packet

  • Hoping the PDF in the folder is the executed version

Hash on a public blockchain proves which version was signed

Questions real estate teams ask

Direct answers. Plan details are on the pricing page; the proof mechanism is explained in what a blockchain e-signature is.

Can buyers, sellers, agents, and the lender sign in a set order?

Yes. Set a sequential order so each party is invited only when the previous one finishes, and mark parties who can sign in parallel so they do not wait on each other. LedgerSign sends each invitation and reminder automatically and shows who is holding the packet up.

Do the parties need a LedgerSign account to sign?

No. Each signer receives a unique, access-controlled link by email, consents to electronic records, and signs from any device with a browser. Only the sender needs an account.

How do I prove later which version of the closing package was signed?

On Business plans and above, the completed package is hashed with SHA-256 and the hash is anchored on the Hedera public blockchain. The Certificate of Completion carries the hash and the transaction id, so anyone can re-hash the PDF years later and confirm it is the executed version.
