3. User Accounts

To use our services, you must create an account and provide accurate, complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.

3.2 Account Responsibility

You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or security breach.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use our services for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
  • Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt our services
  • Impersonate another person or entity
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Use our services to spam or harass others
  • Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code

5. Document Signing and Verification

5.1 Legal Validity

Electronic signatures created through LedgerSign are legally binding and enforceable under applicable electronic signature laws, including the U.S. ESIGN Act and EU eIDAS regulation.

5.2 Blockchain Records

Document hashes recorded on the blockchain are permanent and cannot be deleted or modified. You acknowledge that blockchain records will persist indefinitely.

6. Subscription and Payment

6.1 Subscription Plans

We offer various subscription plans with different features and usage limits. You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time.

6.2 Payment Terms

Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. All fees are non-refundable except as required by law.

6.3 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

7. Data and Privacy

Your use of our services is subject to our Privacy Policy. We implement security measures to protect your data, including encryption and secure storage.

8. Intellectual Property

LedgerSign and its associated logos, trademarks, and service marks are owned by us. Our platform, software, and content are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

You retain ownership of documents you upload. By using our services, you grant us a limited license to process, store, and transmit your documents as necessary to provide our services.

9. Warranties and Disclaimers

OUR SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT OUR SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR COMPLETELY SECURE.

We are not responsible for the legal validity or enforceability of documents in your specific jurisdiction. You should consult legal counsel for advice specific to your situation.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LEDGERSIGN SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold LedgerSign harmless from any claims, damages, losses, and expenses arising from your use of our services or violation of these Terms.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. Upon termination, your right to use our services will immediately cease.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

14. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through our platform. Your continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
